The Hawk 500 GP is physically larger, handles more
consistently and is more stable in conditions that would normally ground a
micro. Despite its slight increase in size, the equipment requirements of the
500 GP are still very comparable with the micros. Unlike other 500 plus (Eolo,
Logo, Quick, etc) helicopters which retail at premium pricing, the hawk 500
GP will work running the same servos, gyros, receiver, speed controller as most
micro helis. This gives it the edge in both affordability and performance. And
for the pilot trying to push the limits, running the hawk on .15 Engine
will deliver extreme 3D capable performance.
